As soon as the weather turns nice, take out the sun powder. A real accomplice to natural tanning...but is it really what gives us that golden face in two strokes? An overview of the latest sun powders, all types combined.

Its touch "bare skin" is a real feat that guarantees a sunny and unified complexion, without any feeling of matter. The bright finish remains very close to a natural start of tan. Apply lightly all-over with a large brush to flatter all skin tones, especially if you have (almost) nothing to hide.
Matte sun powder: the most subtle
Its powdered finish matifies the complexion in finesse: no risk of excessive coverage. It is the perfect texture to give the illusion of a tan supported , provided you do not venture beyond three tones above his complexion. The application is very simple: you put the powder with the brush on the volumes of the face (cheekbones, forehead, bridge of the nose).
Iridescent sun powder: the most sculpting
Infused with golden pearls, the powder is applied uniformly in light all over but also helps to structure and put the reliefs in value. It is then deposited only on the "outsides" of the face (hair roots, temples, maxillary). Only risk: an overdosed texture that would shine too much and accentuate the defects. To avoid this, Tom Sapin, senior make-up artist at MAC, advises to take the powder with the fingertip, and apply it on the back of the hand: if the reflections are ultra-metallic, it is too much loaded with mother-of-pearl, we avoid this texture.
Multi-shade sun powder: the most tailor-made
A timeless palette version, which makes the perfect mine in all circumstances. Its shades are associated with the desires and skin tones. To warm up a summer tan, for example, Olivier Echaudemaison, artistic director of Guerlain, mixes all the colors and deposits them according to his "3D" gestures, by drawing a 3 on each side of the face: a half-circle from the front to the cheekbones, another of the cheekbones on the chin.
