Ines comes from Zagreb, Croatia, and her face painting skills are off the chain. People might be quick to label this as a Halloween makeup account, but it’s way more. The artistry and optical illusions that Ines masterfully paints on herself take true talent.
Her use of black negative space is jaw-dropping. From creepy pigtail dolls with extra wide mouths and teeth, to faces tied up in a knot and contorted into other conundrums, we feel like no amount of Youtube tutorials could ever teach us to do this.
Ines wants her fans to know that even though it looks simple (it doesn’t to us) that her makeup takes her generally 6-9 hours to complete. As with any true work of art, you need to invest the meticulous attention to detail, instead of just Kardashian-izing yourself.
Even the shorted line or smallest dot placed in the wrong part can make a huge difference and cause “huge damage” to the final look. That’s pretty stressful. If we made it that far, we wouldn’t let a short line ruin all that hard work!
Our favorite looks are the one that seem like they’re strangling Ines. Her pouty lips and wide eyes make her look like a real-life cartoon character in those shots! Her Dia de los Muertes shoot is also so inspired and unusual compared to other skeleton looks we’ve seen.
Every detail counts, and Ines roves that. She only has 96 posts, but still has 58k followers on IG, so we feel like there’s a lot more to look forward to from this babe.
We hope to one day see some full body paint pieces of art, as presently post of her designs are just on her face and neck. But if those take almost half a day, we don’t even want to know how long a full body creation would take, but we’re sure it would be magnificent.
From mind-bending looks to chilling ones, what this lady can do without Photoshop and just her tools really impresses us. And that’s what garnered her legions of fans, as she deserves.
