Cellulite: We store excess at night

During sleep, sugars and fatty acids that were not burned during the day remain in the blood and move to fat cells. The fat cell envelope is especially permeable at night. The result: We store fat and sugar and create cellulite...

If nature hates emptiness, our fat cells too. The body always in "survival mode" (we never know what tomorrow will be made) forces them to store energy in the form of fat and therefore cellulite. All orchestrated by a hormone, insulin, which works with peaks of secretions. Good peaks, physiological and vital, are in the morning at breakfast and between 4 pm and 5:30 pm, very rarely between 10 and 11 am. In addition, each food intake (meals, nibbling, sweet tea ...) also triggers an insulin spike. The fat cell gets illico mode "storage": it is lipogenesis. Then the rate decreases during the next three to four hours and the adipocyte leans towards "destocking": it is lipolysis.

The fat cells capture them to transform them into triglycerides and store them. They thrive over the nights until they increase by a hundred times their volume. Phenomenon that disrupts the organization of tissues and causes this famous padded appearance. And all the more so that at night, at rest, the body spends less energy. The energy boiler is reduced to a simple night light. So, if we go to bed with a surplus of calories, we store this excess in relation to this minimal combustion. Namely: the later you dine, the higher the level of sugar and fat remains in the blood: hence the importance of consuming foods with low glycemic index.

At night, the blood and lymphatic circulation also turns idle and all the more so as the body is lying down. Another aggravating factor for cellulite. Hence the interest of raising feet in bed!

Finally, do not neglect the alarm clock, between 7 and 8 am. The body then secretes a larger amount of energizing molecules (peak cortisol and catecholamines), a hormonal alarm clock that "turns the boiler back on" to provide energy. He therefore orders the adipocytes to release the fat. Strategic moment to play sports on an empty stomach and burn even more superfluous curves.
